Advanced Biology – Human A & P
Finish up reading the chapter and answering the OYO questions early this week so that you have enough time to study for the module 3 test. Spend time studying the skeletal system and the diagram of the skin as you complete your coloring book exercises. These will help you learn all of those terms if you give it the time it deserves. I also recommend completing the study guide earlier in the week if you are able so that you have time to study and memorize all of the information on there. I do expect you to be able to label the figures of the skin, skeletal system, and skull…

Advanced Biology – Human A & P
This week you need to finish reading Module 2 and answer the OYO questions. Also, color the coloring page that I passed out to you in class on epithelial tissue as a review, and answer the Study Guide Questions. For the lab report on the tissues we looked at under the microscope, just do the best you can! I will just grade for completion on these this time since it’s your first one. But you do need to complete your drawings, if you haven’t already, of the tissues we looked at in class, and do your best to fill out the Lab Report. We will have an open book quiz…

This week you need to complete the take home test on Module 1 and bring it back to class Friday. It is not open book/notes. If you study the Study Guide Questions and OYO questions you’ll do great! Then read Module 2, pages 36-59 and answer the OYO questions. This week in class we will have an open book quiz at the beginning of class, then we will discuss the module content, and spend some time looking at different tissues under the microscope together. Please make sure you bring all of your work from Module 1 with you to class so that I can see it. Completion of your OYO…

Shurley English 6 for September 4th
This week, you will be finishing Chapter 2. From Lesson 1, the only assignment left is to finish the activity on page 17 of the Teacher’s Manual (TM). Lesson 2 is completed. You will need to do Lessons 3-5 at home. Bring your completed work (practice sentences, vocabulary, workbook practice, daily grams, and test) to class on Friday. There is no writing assignment this week. Parents: it would be helpful if tabs were placed on the current assignments in the workbook, practice sentence book and daily gram book, so the students can quickly turn to the last assignment completed. Thank you 🙂 If you have any questions, text me at…

Lingua Latina for September 4th
Kudos to my discipuli latinae! Another great week! This week finish what we didn’t complete of VL Lessons 7-10 and complete VL Lesson 11 on your own. (Of course, text me if you have any questions.) I will hand out a test next Friday. This needs to be proctored and signed by a parent and returned the following week. The test is closed book/notes/internet/parent/friend/etc. The test will include vocabulary for VL Lessons 1-10 (I will give the Latin; you will give the English.) and the grammar concepts from VL Lessons 1-10. Of course, I mentioned a bonus worth 5 points in class last Friday. Have a great week!
