    Advanced Biology – Human A & P

This week complete the test for Module 6. Then start reading Module 7 and answering the OYO questions. I suggested in class that you may want to go ahead and try to complete this module for the most part this week if you can. Doing so will give you more time to be ready for the midterm which will be given in class on our last day before Christmas break. I hope to have the study guide for this to you this Friday in class, or at the very latest it will be emailed to you early the next week (Thanksgiving week). The midterm will cover Modules 1-7.

Finish reading Module 6 this week. Finish the OYO questions as you read, and complete the study guide. It’s really important that you begin to commit to memory the muscle names and be able to label the diagrams on the study guide. This is not something that you are going to be able to do quickly. It will take time, so don’t procrastinate on this chapter! It’s a lot! You will need to correctly spell the muscles as well as label them for the test on this module. Remember that many of them have clues in their names about where they are located. If you have any work from previous…

This week, complete your take home OPEN BOOK test for module 5, and bring it back to class to turn in for grading. Read p. 170-186 and answer the OYO questions. It would be best to go ahead and begin working on memorizing the names and locations of the muscles that you read about this week, since there are a lot in this chapter. We will have an open book quiz in class. See y’all Friday!

This week finish reading the module by reading p. 130-135. Answer all of the OYO questions and complete the study guide at the end of the chapter. You also need to complete the coloring book exercises that were passed out in class. For those of you who were not in class, I will be emailing them to you so that you can complete them. You should come to class having studied the entire module and be pretty familiar with the information on the study guide. We will have an open-book quiz at the beginning of class and then will review for the test. As always, please let me know if…

Finish up reading the chapter and answering the OYO questions early this week so that you have enough time to study for the module 3 test. Spend time studying the skeletal system and the diagram of the skin as you complete your coloring book exercises. These will help you learn all of those terms if you give it the time it deserves. I also recommend completing the study guide earlier in the week if you are able so that you have time to study and memorize all of the information on there. I do expect you to be able to label the figures of the skin, skeletal system, and skull…

    Advanced Biology – Human A & P

This week you need to finish reading Module 2 and answer the OYO questions. Also, color the coloring page that I passed out to you in class on epithelial tissue as a review, and answer the Study Guide Questions. For the lab report on the tissues we looked at under the microscope, just do the best you can! I will just grade for completion on these this time since it’s your first one. But you do need to complete your drawings, if you haven’t already, of the tissues we looked at in class, and do your best to fill out the Lab Report. We will have an open book quiz…
