This week you need to take Module 7 test. You also need to read all of Module 8, but only complete the OYO’s. (This is a change from the syllabus I gave you at the beginning of the year!) This will be your only grade for this module. You won’t have a test on it, and none of the content from this module will be on the midterm. But I will check that the OYO’s are completed in class Friday. If you have any extra time this week, it would be wise to start working on the study guide for the midterm so that you have more time to study…

This week you need to finish reading Module 7, do the OYO’s and SGQ’s, and study for the test. I will send home a study guide for the midterm this Friday so that you can begin working on that. Remember, you can do Experiment 7.1 or 7.2 if you are needing/wanting any extra credit! We will have an open-book quiz in class this Friday.

This week you need to take Module 6 test and then begin reading Module 7, pages 253-279. Make sure you’ve also completed your definitions and OYO’s before class. If you are looking for extra credit, you can choose to do either Experiment 7.1 or 7.2 and write a complete lab report (including pictures of 7.1) of your findings. These can be turned in this week or next week (deadline is Nov. 19).

This week for Biology you need to take Module 5 test. Remember that it will be straight from the Study Guide so be really familiar with that before you take it! Then you need to read p. 213-233 in Module 6 and do the definitions and OYO’s as you go. We will have an open-book quiz at the beginning of class on Friday on what you’ve read in Module 6 this week.

This week is going to be busy for Biology, so buckle down and be diligent about it all! If you haven’t already taken Module 4 test, you need to complete that and bring it back to class Friday. We are also reading ALL of module 5 this week and you need to do the definitions, OYO’s, and study guide questions just like normal. I know this is a lot of work for one week but we had to do some modules like this to get through the whole book and this is the shortest one. It’s a lot of content, but I will clarify in class what you need to…

This week you need to finish reading Module 4, p. 161-172, doing the definitions and the OYO’s. Also make sure you do the study guide questions and begin studying for the test. We will not have a quiz this week in class. Instead, we will be starting class with a repeat of last week’s lab. I want to remind you that lab participation is part of your grade so please take this seriously. We spent 25 minutes of our class time on our lab last week and didn’t accomplish much. So let’s try to do better this week! I will have the slides prepared and I want you to view…

This week you need to take Module 3 test that I sent home with you from class. If you missed class and need me to email it to you, just email or text me. Remember, the test is not open book! Then begin reading Module 4, pages 137-160, and make sure to do your definitions and OYO’s. We will be doing experiment 4.1 in class so make sure you read over that as well. See y’all Friday!
