Please be sure to read carefully over Experiment 13.3 and be very familiar with what you will need to do for the earthworm dissection in class. Again, this is not a lab you can come to class unprepared, so please read over these pages!

I hope you have all had a good Spring Break! This week you need to take Module 12 test that I gave you in class. Also, read module 13, pages 517-534, doing your definitions and OYO’s. We will have a short quiz in class and then cover most of the module’s content so that next week we can dissect earthworms in class.

Also, make sure you complete the SGQ and bring all of your work from this Module to class to check it off with me. We will finish going over the chapter content in class, have a short quiz, and do most of Experiment 12.1.

Hello, everyone! I got so busy with our lab at the end of class this past week that I forgot to give you the Module 11 tests! I am going to email out a digital copy, but if you want a printed copy, I will send them to Gileskirk class on Tuesday with Hannah. So, your first assignment is to complete the Module 11 test. Then begin reading Module 12, pages 478-499, doing your definitions and OYO’s as well. We will have a quiz in class but will not be doing a lab this week. Make sure you bring back Module 11 test to class Friday!

This week you need to finish reading Module 11, p. 460-473, and do your definitions and OYO’s as you read. You also need to do your SGQ and begin studying for the test. Please be sure to bring all of your work from Module 11 to class so you can be checked off on it. We will be doing Experiment 11.1 in class so you will need to be very familiar with flower anatomy to do this lab. If you would like some extra credit, you can complete Experiment 11.2 and write a lab report and send me pictures.

You also need to read Module 11, p.439-459, doing the definitions and OYO’s as you go. We will have a quiz at the beginning of class and then go over the content from the module.

This week you need to finish reading Module 10, p. 418-435. Please do your definitions and OYO’s to go along with these pages. There is a change from your syllabus for this week – please note! Do NOT complete the SGQ from the end of the module. I will email y’all a study guide that is specific to the test on either Sunday or Monday. You do need to complete this before coming to class Friday. This week you need to take Module 9 test and bring it back to class Friday. Then read Module 10, pages 391-417 and do your definitions and answer OYOs. I will be bringing the pond water that we need for Experiment 10.2, but please make sure that you have read through the instructions for this lab before class. Make sure that you are starting to grow mold on either fruit, bread, or jelly this week for our lab next week. If you can’t remember the details of how to do this, read back over the last paragraph at the end of Experiment 10.1 on page 393.

This week you need to finish reading Module 9 and do all the definitions and OYO’s, as well as complete the study guide. If you are needing extra credit for this class you can complete Experiment 9.2 over the next week or two. If you choose to do this, you will need to bring your yogurt to class to show us, and also write a lab report for it. This will add bonus points to a test grade. I’ll have your Module 9 tests in class Friday for you to take home and complete.
