No quiz this week, but keep up with VL Lessons 1-6 vocabulary and grammar concepts. There will be a test after VL Lesson 10. See you Friday!

Final assignment!!! Continue translating LL chapter 11, part 1 through line 41 on page 79.  I’ll ask you questions in class about the content of the reading for a quiz grade, and then we will complete the chapter. I hope all of you have a great summer!

Finish translating Lingua Latina, chapter X and do all of Pensum C.  If you don’t know what a question asks, text me.  I don’t want any unanswered questions. This will count as this week’s quiz grade.

Light assignment this week: Continue translating chapter 10 trough line 68.  I will give a quiz grade on questions I ask you about what happened in this section, so make sure you understand what you read.  Text me if you can’t figure out a word or sentence (before Friday!)

Your ONLY assignment this week is to memorize the Latin active and passive infinitives on page 145 of your Visual Latin Lesson 26 handouts.  You do NOT need to finish the lesson exercises this week!  Remember:  I will give you “to love,” and you will give me “amare.” I will give you “to be loved,” and you will give me “amari.”

Finish Lingua Latina, Chapter IX Pensa. Quiz for Friday:  The last 11 words of Visual Latin, Lesson 25.  Remember: I will give you the English, and you will give the nominative, genitive, and gender for each word.

Finish translating Lingua Latina, Chapter IX. No pensa this week! Quiz for Friday: Same 3rd declension chart as last week plus the next 10 vocabulary words on our Visual Latin list. Remember: I’ll give you the English, and you will need to know the nominative, genitive, and gender. Hope you had a great Easter!

Finish Visual Latin handouts on 3rd Declension. Quiz for Friday: 3rd Declension chart in your VL Lesson and the first 10 vocabulary words in the lesson. I will give you the ENGLISH and you must give the Latin nominative and genitive and also the gender. Example:  light, lux, lucis, fem.

Do Pensum C only for Lingua Latina, Chapter VIII. Be prepared to explain your answers in class.  Remember to answer in complete sentences. Quiz for Friday. Last half of LL, Ch. VIII Vocabulary only.
