    Week of January 27th

Hi Everyone! I hope you all have had a great weekend.  During this cold last week of January, we are going to be studying Cowboys and the West.  If your child would like to dress up as a cowboy or cowgirl on Friday, I would love it.  If they do not want to, it is perfectly fine also. Thank you moms for all you do!  I can tell how much effort you put into your child.  It shows!!!  Let me encourage you to keep going because the labor you do each day is worth it. Have a great week!

    Week of January 06th

It was wonderful being back with your children.  🙂 I gave them fast facts and reading material for this week.  There are two cards this week…Reconstructing the South and Black Leadership.   Your page for this week reflects #17 and #18 (on the fast facts), but it should reflect only 17.  These two cards are what threw the weeks off here on to the end of the year.  So, do not look at the weeks from this point on…look at the title for the week.  The titles are correct…the weeks are what are incorrect.  I have corrected this for the next time this is taught. Have a great week!  …

I have noticed in my book there are no pages for week 17 and week 18.  🙁  I will get these to you.  If you by some miracle have these in your book, please let me know.  I do not think you will…just hoping. Have a great week!  I cannot wait to see your children.  🙂

    Week of November 11th

This past Friday I was in awe.  I did not know what to say.  As you know, I try to celebrate each birthday at some point.  Never-ever have I thought about the children doing something for me.  Wow!  Well, Gracie made me a banana cake.  She even had candles.  It was precious…they did the birthday song and all that goes with it.  It was wonderful!!! I know you all have your hands full with being moms and raising these wonderful children…plus all the other things you do…you all have more than one hat.   I know you go to bed some nights thinking did I get anything across to her…
