We accomplished a lot in class on Friday, so this week’s assignment will be uncharacteristically light. It is as follows:
Lesson 1 – completed in class
Lesson 2 – Everything completed but the activity on page 17 of the Teacher’s Manual. This needs to be turned in on Friday.
Lesson 3 – “Chapter 2, Lesson 3, Practice (1-4)” on page 62 of the workbook and the Chapter 2, set 2 of the vocabulary need to be completed for this lesson. These are to be turned in on Friday.
Lesson 4 – This lesson was not covered in class at all. So, it needs to be completed at home in its entirety along with the chapter 2 test. I will collect the test on Friday, grade them, and return them the following Friday.
Lesson 5 – The practice sentences for lesson 5 also need to be completed. Again, there is no writing assignment for this week!
Don’t forget that each daily gram completed is worth an extra point on your weekly tests (up to 6 a week).
One last thing – Each student needs to have their materials for class organized in an easy to access way. The student should have pencil/pen, paper and/or notebook, textbooks, and a dictionary that they are comfortable with using. His notebook should have designated sections for vocabulary, writing assignments, and sentence practice. This will allow us to move smoothly through our class work, thus, reducing the amount of work that will need to be done at home.
Looking forward to seeing you on Friday!
