Shurley English 6 for January 24th

Please finish Chapter 17 this week, except for Lesson 5, the writing assignment.  Chapter 17 deals with quotation rules, so study well References 48-51.

For composition, type or rewrite your “Ant and the Chrysalis” story to turn in on Friday.  Don’t forget to underline your Figures of Description (FODs) and label them at the end of the sentence in which they are written.  For example:  A cool breeze tickled the ant’s back as he searched for food. (Anemographia)  The last thing to do on this lesson is to go over reduction (page 12, #2).  We will do the reduction together in class Friday.
